Emotional (feat. Kayne Prexise)

Nottingham born-and-raised bassline veteran Mr Virgo drops his first single of the year entitled 'Emotional', featuring the smooth-toned Atlanta-based R&B artist Kayne Prexise. Kayne's soulful voice and funky harmonics combined with the crisp-as-ever dance production from Mr Virgo mean this track is undoubtedly due to be a summer hit.
Since establishing himself in both the bassline scene and as one of Grime's most coveted and prolific producers, Mr Virgo has unsurprisingly been overwhelmed with summer festival bookings over the past few years, playing the likes of Glastonbury, Outlook and Parklife. Fittingly, he also recently released a 3-track bassline EP entitled 'Festival EP'. He's now exploring fresh alternative soundscapes with this tropical heartfelt tune.
Kayne Prexise grew up in New York and first gained an audience as a Subway singer. He counts Young Thug as a fan after Prexise was asked to sing for Thug and his girlfriend on Valentine's day. This song is the first of a series of collaborations between Mr Virgo and Kayne Prexise dropping this year.
